Nothing better than a random beer in a can from southern Ontario airlifted to the arctic.... price be darned! Looks okay, decent level of foamy head and bubbly macro-lager goodness in the body. Soft aroma of sweet rotten corn stench with barely a hint of cardboard. Flavour has some strong fruity esters and adjuncts thrown in with a citrusy and bitter finish. Dry, at least. While it’s totally not great, it’s much better than the other macro I’ve been drinking up her for the last couple of months (and thus my relatively highy rating might be just celebrating a bit of variety!).

This smells something like yeast and garbage. It’s sort of metallic, light bodied but still quite sweet and corny. It has creamy carbonation which makes it oddly pleasant to drink, which is strange because it tastes disgusting.

Rather bland beer with low drinkability. The color was rather pale around 4.5 ebc. Foam and cling was low. There was a hint of mercaptan and sour after taste. There was also moderate astrigency.

Can. A clear, pale golden beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma is rather weak, but some grains, hay and corn escapes the glass. It’s faintly fruity on the palate, thin on the palate, and soft. Grains, some notes of corn and fruityness and a touch of hay in the flavor. Maybe some bitterness too, at least in the finish. Fortunately it doesn’t smell of taste much, as what is isn’t very interesting or good. 150618

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, corn and hint of sulphur. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long corn and slightly fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

New year beer number two. Pale, fizzy, fast disappearing head. Corn, water in the aroma and taste. Light body. Fizzy. Kinda sorta grainy but by the time i was halfway through the glass i stopped caring, much like you did one sentence into this review.

(Rating #5714)

Big fucken can @ the rake dungeon via Secret Krampus. Thanks! Pours a light yellow appearance with a white head that dissipates pretty quickly. The aroma is much like Miller Lite - lots of corn, grass, and hay - maybe a touch of grape drank. Moderate carbonation. Moderate high sweetness. Low bitterness. Dull grainy flavor with maybe a hint of metal. Not horrible but I’d probably take a Miller Lite over it.

Bottle (Old Notes-Brewed at Lakeport Brewing)-Pours a medium golden with a small white head. Aroma of corn and grains. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is just another Canadian Pale Lager.
