473ml Can in Powassan, Ontario 02/11/2010 Malty and floral aroma. Minimal carbonation. Large white head. Clear golden coloured smooth on the palate hoppy and floral with a hint of dryness in a lasting malt finish.

Straw coloured beer. Thin head and bland pale malts. No adjuncts as far as I can taste. Grainy and bland with no hops at all, but it isn’t offensive either.

Sickly pale yellow, small white head escapes the glass after a token effort. Dilute hops and a vague chemical undercurrent. Corn? Not sure if they use adjuncts or not but it gives the impression of it regardless. Mild hop bitterness in a finish that threatens to become quite harsh in the aftertaste but doesn’t quite get there. Watery. Weak. Waste. Thank you LCBO singles bin for yet another treasure.

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2005 Aroma: Wet cloth with grassy accents . Does this make sense to you? I bet ya it does. Pale clear gold with small ring of white fizzle, plenty of carbonation. Medium light bodied, on sweeter side, but whatever there was left my senses even before I could like it. I was left alone with watery sweet soda .It is what it is. Cheap lager beer, no fancy-shmacy (sp?). I was not made for Rate Beer Geekdome , lets keep that way .

Bottle (341ml). Someone will one day tell me what makes bat piss like this "premium." Because they say so, I guess. Poured slightly hazy pale gold with some bubbling and a large soapy-foam-rubbery white lasting head. Aroma of chemicals, sour corn, scorched wheat, some skunk - typical bargain basement pale lager rectal pong. Tasted harsh, grainy, thin, flat, sickly sweet - taste is much better than the aroma, and at least it’s quick-diminishing on the tongue - and drink it fast or pour it down, this crap gets n-a-s-t-y as it warms.

[606-20070911] 355mL. Slightly rotten straw aroma with some skunk and a strange yeast. Clear, dark yellow body with a big medium-lasting foamy white head. Strange rotting yeast continues in flavour with an unpleasant aftertaste. Light body. Not immediately gross.

Is Laker to the Brick Brewery the same as Wildcat is to Labatt’s? This beer sucks. The nautical signals on this beer spell ’BEWARE!’

Boutip (3467) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 28, 2008
Bottle: Poured a deep clear lager with a large bubbly head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma is dominated by adjunct with some grioss sweetness. Taste is quite bland with some bad adjunct and some gross sweetness being easily discernable. Quite forgetable and you have to think that a buck a beer can get you something better.

Corn and malt smell, golden, small white head. Has a slight malt taste,no bitterness at all. Watery. Whew.
