473ml Can in Powassan, Ontario 02/11/2010 Malty and floral aroma. Minimal carbonation. Large white head. Clear golden coloured smooth on the palate hoppy and floral with a hint of dryness in a lasting malt finish.

A decent lager if its served cold , pretty mild taste and kinda pale looking in the glass , but its decently crisp taste and quiet finish is nice on a very hot day

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2011 473mL can from the brewery. Pours a nice pale gold with a large white head. Aroma has some classic Brick qualities to it, cereal grains, mild peppery zest. Nothing off. Flavour is sweet upfront, not unnatural feeling, leading into a cereal grainy malt aspect, finished with some bitter peppery zing, and a dry aftertaste which makes me think that hops may actually be in here, or at least hop extract. Lingering malty sweet aspects, with little to no adjunct characters. Very clean and tasty. For something so cheap, it could be so much worse. And it’s actually so much better than regular macro stuff like Bud, Canadian, Coors, etc.

This beer is VERY bad if it's not enjoyed cold.....I enjoy the cheap price and everything but if not for that I would surely forego it....

There’s nothing great about this Canadian offering, but nothing terrible either. Was able to score thiis stuff for a mere $6.99 a 12 last summer, which made it one of my favorite brews at that time. No hangover, nautical theme, doesn’t taste great, but my Bud drinking friends didn’t complain about it. Not bad for the price, that’s for sure. Living on the great lakes, and having a soft heart for the shipping lines, I have to admit that my marks are a little more sentimental than most.

I found this beer enjoyable, espeacially the price. It was as drinkable as any of the brands from the big two, and less than half the price. And less than a deck of smokes!

no special flavour; not nery tasty; quite average in all categories except that it is very cheap beer compared to others round here and still the best of Brick brewery in my opinion; reminds me a little of Beck’s beer from Germany which I like a lot;

341ml brown bottle. Golden pour, holds a small ring of head. Sweetish aroma. Slightly grainy, dry, rather watery though the middle with some more grains toward the finish. Nowhere near premium in my books, but it is drinkable. Besides, people don’t buy this for the flavour, they buy it cause it’s a "buck a beer"...

can. Poured clear pale yellow with a large rocky white head. Grainy adjunct aroma. Light watery body, low carbonation. Flavour is what it is, cheap and grainy buck a beer taste. Non offensive but not impressive. Definetly a beer reserved for sweltering summer days.
