Sickly pale yellow, small white head escapes the glass after a token effort. Dilute hops and a vague chemical undercurrent. Corn? Not sure if they use adjuncts or not but it gives the impression of it regardless. Mild hop bitterness in a finish that threatens to become quite harsh in the aftertaste but doesn’t quite get there. Watery. Weak. Waste. Thank you LCBO singles bin for yet another treasure.

an almost non existent aroma, basically nothing to smell, clear, slight malt taste, very light, light body, flat, reminds me of accidently swallowing water while swimming in Canadian lakes.

One of the most clearest brews i’ve ever seen(not a good thing). piss yellow colour, lots of carbonation. almost no aroma, from over filtration, but there is a pilsner like quality. if it weren’t for the carbonation i don’t think this beer would taste like anything.

Lagerboy (420) - British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 15, 2012
Clear pale yellow, thin white head fades quickly. Faint aroma of caramel, corn and grain. Cloyingly sweet corny and grainy malty taste. Finishes sweet and flat. Value priced industrial swill for the masses. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

341ml bottle. Slightly darker yellow colour and slightly tighter head than the light version but it is still pretty bad looking. Aroma is grass, sweet and slight sunk. Rather faint. Taste is wet cardboard and grain. Palate is more refreshing than the Light; still thin, but less watery. Overall, seems like an average macro lager.

Originally rated September 2005. Hadn’t had this beer in a long time (back when the label was black). Now, everything is blue with a maple leaf too (blue as well). Sample from the can this time. Pours a golden light colour with a white head. Not much retention, but creamy lace on the side of the glass. There is hardly any aromas to this beer. Watery mouthfeel. The taste at first is kind of weird. Expecting caramel, but instead get some bitterness... mixed with some sourness. Then it goes down smooth. Light malt aftertaste. Remember it being better the first time.

There’s nothing I like better than finding yet another cheap lager with a name I don’t recognize..... and all the wonders of why it’s made ensue. Has a boring golden body with a weak head. The aroma is tin and slightly rotting cabbage. Flavour is weak cardboard with a dry particle-board finish and a slight hint of brown sugar. Boring, bad, but vaguely refreshing.

473ml Can in Powassan, Ontario 02/11/2010 Malty and floral aroma. Minimal carbonation. Large white head. Clear golden coloured smooth on the palate hoppy and floral with a hint of dryness in a lasting malt finish.

Smells like a discount beer, slightly sugary taste. Slight barley flavour is the only hint that it is a beer, generally easy to drink but it gets old after a couple nights of beer pong in a row. Not the worst discount beer in Ontario.

Can. Pours clear golden yellow. Head fades quickly. Pretty decent for lager with little taste.

can. Poured clear pale yellow with a large rocky white head. Grainy adjunct aroma. Light watery body, low carbonation. Flavour is what it is, cheap and grainy buck a beer taste. Non offensive but not impressive. Definetly a beer reserved for sweltering summer days.
