robinvboyer (964), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada May 11, 2008 a buck a beer!
Well i’m not getting my hopes up for this one. Bottle was handed to me by my mothers boyfriend at a BBQ at his place.
Well, typical macro lager smell, vegggies, corny, and pale malts. Flavour is again your typical macro lager. Not much flavour at all, but what you do get it cooked vegetables, and cheaps grains. Blech, will not have again. JoeMcPhee (3643), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Dec 2, 2007 Straw coloured beer. Thin head and bland pale malts. No adjuncts as far as I can taste. Grainy and bland with no hops at all, but it isn’t offensive either. mabel (1246), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 25, 2007 [606-20070911] 355mL. Slightly rotten straw aroma with some skunk and a strange yeast. Clear, dark yellow body with a big medium-lasting foamy white head. Strange rotting yeast continues in flavour with an unpleasant aftertaste. Light body. Not immediately gross. JesseM (346), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Aug 28, 2007 Watery and sweet, but actually not the absolute worst "buck-a-bottle" beer out there. AWS9 (114), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Aug 18, 2007 Like most of its piers, tastes decent when the heavy carbonation hides the taste. But once you’re past the first few sips, it tastes pretty rotten. I remember finding it delicious after a hockey game, then had it another time and hating it. Certainly are worse though.
