Deep black pour under a foamy khaki head. Wonderful nose of earthy bourbon and charred oak with some roastiness, vanilla, cocoa, and a little bourbony coconut. Amazing flavor with brown sugar bourbon, earthy oak tannins, vanilla, wood char, chocolate, coconut, and sweet brown sugar with earthy roasty chocolate. Amazing.

>> Murky deep red pour with weak tan foam. Spotty lace. Nose is spicy brown alcohol, richer mousse and buttery cake. Really intense warming bourbon nose. Roasty, sugary taste with warming alcohol, marzipan, dark chocolate, vanilla. Great palate and heavy density. Surprisingly really good.

22 oz bottle, 2013. Dark brown with a fluffy tan head. Nose is bourbon, milk, wood and blackberry. Reminds me of a toddy my mom would make for me when i had a cold. Medium body with a buzz. Taste is cafe au lait, sweet bourbon and honey. Might be cool warmed.

Oh man, I love this beer! It's thick, it's dark, it's heavy, and it is beer gold! If you love a stout and rich drink, try this one. It can be found in Krogers around Dallas and hails from Garland, TX.

22oz bottle in a teku. Pours black with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, some bourbon and oak, light chocolate and coffee, some vanilla, and some dough. Flavor the same with an awesome balance of the bourbon and imperial stout. Smoother texture. A really cool beer.

From Errl-thanks, Chris! Slightly translucent on the edges. Thick but fast fading head from an aggressive pour. Rich nose with loads of caramel and some vanilla and booze. Flavor follows....on the sweeter side like you’d expect, but not cloying or a bourbon bomb. Bourbon well integrated, smooth.

On the one hand, it’s yet another bourbon barrel stout. On the other, it’s a delicious bourbon barrel stout. Caramel and vanilla bourbon, oak and coffee.

Pours black like oil. Bourbon, vanilla, and cocoa on the nose, all follow onto the palate. Had both on tap and via bottle. Having it on nitro made it even smoother and creamier than it already is.
