3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Another solid entry from Lakewood. A good standard, summer, American IPA. It seems to be a solid entry where they can begin to vary a bit (Imperial, etc).

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I’m just not a fan of these mash-up beer styles. This one struggles from an identity crisis. Is it a Belgian or an IPA? It has the characteristics of both but they blend to make a weird just OK beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Goodfriend.
The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma is full of orange and floral notes, with some biscuit malt and Belgian yeast notes thrown in. The flavor is similar. I get some bitter hop notes, with some perfume and citrus thrown in. There is also some grass and biscuit malt in the flavor. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured a nice amber with little head. Soft nose and a very soft, very appreciated palate. Not a hopheads Ipa, but one I could easily stomach.
