3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a dark and cloudy brown/amber color with a lot of foam, more than any beer i’ve had yet and has medium amount of carbonation. Has a bit of a floral/ earthy and malt aroma. Has a strong but great taste, a bit of a citrus bitter taste, you can also tell that theres yeast in it. Leaves the tongue a little dry afterwards but overall a good beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 fl. oz. bottle, thanks Chumly! Mostly clear orange copper, tan foam settles and lasts. Aroma is more floral, citrus, yeast and mild c-malt. Lightly bitter, slightly floral hop taste, citric, faint spice, lean toasted caramel malt, some Belgian yeast. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, moderately hopped. Surprisingly tasty subtle hybrid. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A hazed orange amber ipa with a thick frothy mocha head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with grassy floral hops, resinous character, grapefruit pulp, very nice. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with loads of resinous floral hops, treacle, clover field, nice and balanced. On tap at gas money, DFW.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Good, not great. I LIKE the hop-forward style; I also appreciate Belgian yeast. This beer is just a little of both. Not impressive enough to rate highly.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Let me preface this by saying I do not understand the Belgian IPA trend. I like Belgian beers and I love IPA’s, but this style is neither. This beer is a light amber color with a ring of off white foam for a head. Earthy Belgian yeast nose with some fruit and citrus notes. This drinks much more Belgian than IPA. Some apple and berry fruit with Belgian candi sugar and caramel. The finish has some hints of hop bitterness, but not enough for me. Decent beer in an bastard style.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured draft at the Admirals Club DFW. Amber honey in appearance with a short lived white head (could be the glasses at the location). Nose is subdued picking up some citrus but far more Belgian esters with apricot and honey next to the hops. Medium body, and distinct bite and sweet notes simultaneously. Aftertaste lingers with decided bitterness. This won’t fit any style but worth a try just to see how the yeast plays with and subdued the hops.
