COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’re no monks, but our Belgian-style IPA gives a tip of the hat to our divine brethren. Brewed with rich malt, noble hops, Trappist yeast and a kick of coriander, this is one complex beer. Hop Trapp pours with a refined bitter backbone, floral hoppy notes and a decidedly Belgian finish. This brew is worthy of some serious contemplation.

Hay malts on the nose. Slight floral tones are there. Pours a dark amber with a very thick head that lasts throughout. Light bitter taste is there, as well as a a light sweetness. Just OK, and not my idea of an IPA.

Copper pour, quickly leaving tan head. Nose is over-ripe fruit and Belgian yeast. Little bitter, little sweet. Middle is medium kilned malt, light woody hops, plums. Finish is caramel and wood. Different but worth a try.

Belgian yeast and soft hops on the nose. Sweet bubblegumy, some caramel, toast, earth and soft citrus. Amber pour thin head and lave. Flavors very similar. More Belgian ale with hops than IPA. Tastes pleasant though and it's on tap at tgifridsays in the Dallas airport so it could be worse. Works for me.

At Meddlesome Moth in Dallas. Smooth. Not my favorite style, but good for what it is. A bit sweet, almost a honey taste.

Bottle at dallas airport after a long work and travel day. Belgian sort of full bodied yeast. Some honey. English mild hop profile Definitely unique in the experience but not sure I need a 6 pack of this. Glad to try.

16oz draft 1/22/15 (Crowne Plaza-Addison)-Pours amber with a medium sized head. Aroma of Belgin, hops, and sweetness. Taste of the same with some citrus as well. This light to medium bodied brew is not bad but the Belgiany aspect was a bit lacking.

Pours clear amber with a finger of off-white head. Aroma of wheat, citrus, fruit. Taste is sweet, honey and wheat, with light citrus bitter finish. Light and smooth body with average carbonation.

12oz Christmas bottle split with Zac. Hazy copper color with a small white head. Gentle aroma of fresh hops and light sweetness. Good bitterness without being harsh. Nice break from the big bad west coast IPAs. Good.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2015 Frisco, Tx. - 3 Stacks BBQ - on tap. Slight haze, medium copper pour, off white head decent lacing. Fruity aroma with some light spruce. Standard IPA flavor with some caramel sweetness and citrus bitterness melded in together nicely. Rating #6400!
