Weíre no monks, but our Belgian-style IPA gives a tip of the hat to our divine brethren. Brewed with rich malt, noble hops, Trappist yeast and a kick of coriander, this is one complex beer. Hop Trapp pours with a refined bitter backbone, floral hoppy notes and a decidedly Belgian finish. This brew is worthy of some serious contemplation.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle at home. The aroma of this beer is amazing. Strong smells of citrus, almost smells like an orange! The appearance is golden with a thick white head. Taste is hoppy with a smooth taste at first and then the aftertaste is bitter. Overall good IPA. Iíve had better, but itís a solid ale.

Bottle at dallas airport after a long work and travel day. Belgian sort of full bodied yeast. Some honey. English mild hop profile Definitely unique in the experience but not sure I need a 6 pack of this. Glad to try.

16oz draft 1/22/15 (Crowne Plaza-Addison)-Pours amber with a medium sized head. Aroma of Belgin, hops, and sweetness. Taste of the same with some citrus as well. This light to medium bodied brew is not bad but the Belgiany aspect was a bit lacking.

12oz Christmas bottle split with Zac. Hazy copper color with a small white head. Gentle aroma of fresh hops and light sweetness. Good bitterness without being harsh. Nice break from the big bad west coast IPAs. Good.

June 2015. Travelled to a terminal that wasnít based on food stamps. Lost in Dallas somewhere but found a borderline mexican foodery with actual taps I give a shit about. Maybe Qdoba? That probably isnít right as it looks like random letters pulled out of a bag. Beeeer- interesting. Bold yet simple and odd. Heated hops, dark caramel, pepper that isnít pepper spice that I sometimes find in ipsís, darker caramel, light citrus, lighter pine, not sweet but slighly berry like. Hops really catching up and imparting a very heavy after taste. Extra points for meanness.

On draft at Frankie's in Fort Worth. A rich amber color with almost no head. Does not really taste like an IPA - tastes like IPA crossed with a wheat bear. Caramel, some pine and a bubble gum-esque quality. All up front, kind of mellows - this is not really for me, but I could see others digging it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark and cloudy brown/amber color with a lot of foam, more than any beer iíve had yet and has medium amount of carbonation. Has a bit of a floral/ earthy and malt aroma. Has a strong but great taste, a bit of a citrus bitter taste, you can also tell that theres yeast in it. Leaves the tongue a little dry afterwards but overall a good beer.
