COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our take on an American Rye/Wheat. It pours with a fluffy white head and has a cloudy straw color. The citrus aroma and the addition of rye malt gives it a complexity and subtle pepperiness. Itís soft on the palate and finishes slightly dry with just a hint of lemon zest in the background. Food Pairing: Light and soft cheeses. Crisp salads. Poultry, fish and shellfish

On tap at Vickery Cafe, PLano. Pours hazy white, not much of a head. Faint aroma of cloves. You can really taste the rye here. A bit strong on the rye flavor for my taste

Hazy yellow with small head that fades out to just a ring. Smells of musty hay. Taste is rye with some small grainish flavors in the back but mostly just the rye. OK but nothing great. Bottles I got say 4.8% ABV while this site shows it to be 5.2%. Recent recipe change???

Has a faint nutty grain aroma. Appearance is decent light copper body with little head. Flavour is soft wheat notes and a hint of hazelnut. A bit soft on the mouth. Itís neither here nor there.

Clear deep golden with a foamy white head. Nice pleasant wheaty nose with an earthy yeasty tone. Good solid wheaty ale flavor with a little biscuity bready tone behind a pale ale maltiness. Basic yet pleasant wheat ale flavor.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle, from blutt59, June 16, 2014, poured into a weizen glass. Hazy straw with small white head. Aroma is zesty/herbal hops, medium/light body, medium/low carbonation, and some smaller bubble lacing. Taste is lemon zest and some peppery rye.

Bottle from Kroger. pours a dirty yellow with a thin white head. The aromas are bubblegum, funk. The mouthfeel is watery and has a light body and good carbonation. Cheers!

Pours a cloudy straw yellow color with white head. Citrus, pine, and just a little light fruit on the nose; follows onto the palate with a cereal grain note. Nice, light and crisp.

Bottle - Wheat, lemon, grass and a slight skunky bitterness. Clearish gold with a rich bubbly white head. Wheat, grass and some light refreshing bitterness. Rye adds some nice spice that makes it a bit more interesting. I think this is a nice refreshing beer with some unusual but decent flavors.

Better than expected. Faint aroma of wheat, rye and hops. Cloudy golden color with barely a head, which concerned me that it was flat. This turned out not to be the case as the carbonation was high. It had a refreshingly light palate with a dry finish. Wheat and citrusy hops hits first with a small sense of lemon and eventually the rye kicks in at the end. Easy to drink with food.

Either this beer is inconsistent or our taste buds are very different. Or both. Most are saying light on the rye but Iím in the heavy rye camp. Possibly the most rye-forward beer Iíve ever tasted.
