Pretty good. Nice toasted chocolate aromas with malts mixed in. Really dark black head with minimal tan head. Smooth palate that had a unique viscosity. Roasted and sweet malts, some chocolate and milky flavors as well. They all blended nicely and were even a little burnt, in a good way. Very good offering from a new brewery.

Beautifully smooth. Looks luxurious . Nothing not to like. It’s a bit too strong for my liking - I’d like to drink more of it without falling over.

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nicely balanced. Avoids being sickly sweet like so many Imperials. Not heavy, matches well with lighter entrees.

Bottle. Pours a very dark black. Taste is coffee, charred wood and a hint of booze. Solid, yet not overpowering. Nice.

Super inky/silky sweet black stout without the prune flavor that steers me away from beers of such kind. Very sweet, but not cloying.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12-oz. bottle. Pours dark brown with no head. Sweet burnt marshmallow aroma (like making s’mores). Sweet milk chocolate, marshmallow, vanilla, and heavy burnt bark mix together for an interesting flavor for a milk stout. Very roasty, dry palate. Nice; it certainly stands apart from a typical sweet stout.

Bottle, I was torn about this one, as I took the first sip, I thought "ack, this doesnt fit well at all" but that was my fault, I was trying it too cold.. as it warmed it transformed and flavors melded much better, I still think a 9% milk stout is high, but these are sweet savory dairy, lactose sweetness that is pretty nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dark beer with only a slick of a tan head. Sweet nose with some burnt grains and alcohol. Lots of molasses sweetness, burnt toast, chocolate, and some sweetened coffee. Big, sweet stout.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Had this more times than I can remember. Pours a very dark brown color edging on black. Opaque. Tall foamy tan head. Aroma is very chocolaty with oak, vanilla, roast and sweet milk chocolate. Flavor is very full, roasty, malty, big chocolate malt flavor. Finishes with a coating of the tongue. One of the best things they do.
