COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This seductress is like dessert in a glass. It pours with a thick milk chocolate head. Chocolate and caramel malt give it a complex and rich body. Lower carbonation gives the beer a silky mouthfeel. She’s voluptuous and will sneak up on you with soft alcohol warmth. Take your time with her and she’ll reward you.

Pours dark brown, nearly black with a small tan head. The aroma is sweet cocoa and some cream. Flavors are HUGE chocolate, subtle bread and just a hint of licorice on a backbone of roast and mild alcohol heat. The mouthfeel is nearly perfect though a little lighter than a 9% stout would lead you to believe. Overall, super good, this needs to be and Imperial Milk Stout as it has huge flavor, big ABV and definitely sits above most milk stouts.

Type: 12-oz. bottle Glass: Pint mug From: Beer Advocate’s mschantz Price: N/A Purchased: N/A; Received on April 17, 2015 Consumed: April 23, 2015 Misc.: Bottled on Jan. 6, 2015 Thanks Mike! Poured a pitch black color with 1-to-2 fingers of dark khaki tan, frothy head, which dissipated rather quickly. Very light sporadic foamy spot(s) on the sides of the glass. Poor retention. (Sight - 3.50) Smelled dark fruits, caramel, toffee, artificial vanilla, fake chocolate, roasty malts and chocolate syrup late. (Smell - 3.38) Tasted much better than the smell, initially reminding me of a Sam Adams Chocolate Bock. Got milk chocolate, chocolate syrup, toffee, caramel, artificial vanilla, faint smokiness and light chocolate milkshake. Doesn’t taste anywhere near 9.1 pct. ABV, maybe like 6.4 pct. (Taste - 3.75) Medium-to-full body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth, slightly warming finish. Best part of this beer. (Feel - 4.13) This was an OK milk stout, but it did get better was it went down. I’m sure after two or three of these, the night would be good. (Overall - 3.75) 3.70 84 B

Tasted on Nitro @ Meddlesome Moth Nose - Milk chocolate and mild fruit nose. Taste - Wow, fairly silky with a medium sweetness. The soft fruits and cocoa powder meld perfectly and there’s a roasted nut aspect on the finish. Very tasty! --- Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours black with a minimal head. Aromas of lactose, rich roasted malts, black licorice. The imperial/milk stout hybrid is clear from the smell. Taste is very rich and sweet. Malts, chocolate, vanilla, some coffee bitterness. Medium bodied, silky/creamy mouthfeel, and soft carbonation.

In my secret santa box. Very dark brown, medium head. Aroma is unassuming, standard stout stuff, not bad. Creamy, oily mouthfeel. Sweet. Like milk chocolate. Really good.

Bottled. Pours pitch black with nice creamy tan head. Aroma is chocolate, and soft creaminess. Flavor is super sweet chocolate, and a very rich creamy texture, bitter coffee finish. Exactly what you’d expect from an imperial milk Stout. Pretty awesome. Full bodies and creamy.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained light beige head, with Belgian lacing, over a clear, dark brown (SRM 30) body.....nose is moderate chocolate, light cocoa, no coffee from the roasted malts, light toffee/caramel minimal hops balance to the malts......taste is slight lactose sweetness, with chocolate, cocoa, light vanilla, toffee/caramel, with very mild hop bitterness......mouth feel, medium body, sticky, alcohol warmth present, creamy carbonation, no acid. This is a sweet, chocolate heavy, dessert like Imperial Stout. It is not as sweet as some, is less complex than others, but is a pleasant enough beer. BJCP 7/3/15/4/6
