4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours clear golden with a large white head. Smells of funk, wheat, pepper, spices. Taste is funky, bready, spicy. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and average mouth-carbonation, Lakewood Till & Toil finishes with a yeasty funk.

Tap at Craft and Growler - I am torn on this one - it has a nice crips dryness to it, and an ample bitterness, but the flavor of the mosaic and citra seem out of place at first, but mellow and settle as your palate adjusts - the phenols are a bit plastic-like up front, but settle into some earth and light funkiness - a little bit of sweet melon and mango, and a touch of ginger at the end - okay, I guess I like it.

Tap at Lakewood. Cloudy gold pour with a nice white head. Aroma is citrus, barnyard, and fairly spicy. Taste has a lot of nice citrus with a little funk, clove, and faint banana. A little tart. Dry finish with slightly prickly carbonation. Really nice beer for our lovely Texas heat.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Live Oak. Light pour with a big, frothy white head. Aroma is grapefruit from a foot away. Then some other things, but grapefruit buries it in a forceful (but happy) way. Taste is a little bitter, a nice little tartness, and citrus. The finish is somewhat grapefruit. I mean, the finish is grapefruit. I found very little peach and no pineapple.
