Swell down the curry beer. A very flat plain looking and tasting beer.

It is probably a cliche’ to repeat the Greek proverb made famous by Isaiah Berlin, but: a fox knows many things, a hedgehog knows one big thing. This beer is a definite hedgehog. Aroma, flavor, appearance--nothing much to say--but I had this beer in an Indian restaurant *on tap* and it offer a lasting carbonation--a fizz on the mouth that continued right to the end of my curry. As a way of balancing a lamb madras, this beer should be fine IF YOU GET IT ON TAP. And of course, if you’re sweating over a lamb madras, it isn’t very likely that you’ll taste the subtleties of most beers, much less a lager.

Very plae, sweet and bland. My bottle also was also bought in the Netherlands, so by all likeliness I too had the UK version.

Don’t be fooled in drinking this, when you visiting a Indian restaurant. Although it supposed to be coming out of exotic Rajastan in India, the one I drank is brewed and bottled in England. It should have a crips en refreshing taste. But in my opinion it is a dull lager wich is made out of 3rd class ingrediants.

I think I had the UK version of this beer. Don’t where is was brewed. But it’s not much better I guess looking at the ratings by those aussies. The aroma is bad malts. It’s sweet, thick and heavy. Very unlike normal lagers.
