A step up from leiths. Hazy fold pour, good sized head. Only faint hopping in the aroma and taste, fairly sweet, not overly bitter. Easy drinking but uninteresting.

Drunk from the bottle, sweet caramel & biscuity aroma with lots of pine. Med-full bodied with tons of biscuit, bitter pine and a clean crisp taste. One dimensional but nice.

33cl bottle kindly from Beer City. Pours a pale brown colour with a thin white head. Aroma is pine, resin, caramel, grassy and slightly wood. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is more bitter than sweet but with strange notes of metallic and hoppy notes. Overall, a drinkable beer but a bit unbalanced and with odd flavours.

Bottle kindly shared by Dominique, A clear copper beer with medium head. Nose is bread like with candied fruit notes. Aroma is on toasted malt, caramalt touch, slightly metallic, crisp, medium bitterness. Body is medium, almost no aromatic hops.

Bottle in Montreal from store at condo red pour. White head. Eating spicy salsa with it so this could be off. Like a red ale. Bitter and malty. Not bad and expected better

Geruch sehr malzig fruchtig, hopfig. Geschmack hopfig fruchtig, malzig, exotische Früchte.

Brown body, thin head. Vegetable, resin, woody hops, biscuit body, not so nice. Taste is odd, with a sharp yet not big bitterness and cheap malt feel. Not awesome. Don’t like the mouth feel at all. (33cl bottle from Beer City)

341 mL Bottle. Gold-copper body with a frothy off-white head settling to a wispy film coating the sides of the glass. Intense resiny grapefruit rind hops dominate over the sweet pale malts with a hint of treacle. Flavor of sweet light malts with an aftertaste of treacle and then intense resiny grapefruit rind hops move in for the finish. This is another example of a style of beer I am very fond of; call it beer nepotism, call it whatever. A bit light of body but no slouch for flavor.
