Draft in Delirium Cafe, Brussels, Belgium. Fairly dark brown with a reddish hue, very sweet smelling, hints of brown sugar and maple syrup as well as alcohol. Nutty caramel, softly smoked turns quickly into a too sweet tasting beer. Mouthfeel is very soft, it’s fairly low carbonated.

25 cl. draft @ Delirium Tap House. Black with some ruby hue and a beige head only on the sides. Smells very sweet with lots of brown sugar, syrup and dark fruits. Taste is similar, very heavy and sticky with Liège syrup, dark fruits syrup, thick brown sugar, caramel and some maple syrup. Slightly sticky body – not sure about the score on here but I certainly did enjoy it but than again I quite like very sweet beers.

Draft @ Delirium. Cuivrée-acajou, col fin beige.

Draft @ Delirium Café, Brownish colour, small head, low carbonation, hints of coffee in the nose, also hints of coffee in the taste, although not to much, some sweetness is there, quite nice!

On tap in Delirium Tap House. Dark brown with yellow cap. A bit too swet for me.

A dark mahoganny amber ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with smooth smokey notes, grassy notes, OK. In mouth, a nice nutty caramel with smoked peaty notes, light wood, good and complex. On tap at Vices et Versa Feb 22, 2013

(8 janvier 2013)
