Bottle shared by Dogbrick at the Eurostash III tasting on 1/12/12. Clear yellow pour with a thick off-white head. Aroma of creamy malt (almost corny like a cream ale), not much else. Sweet malt flavor with some crisp hops.

Sample at Eurostash III tasting on 01/12/2012: Bottle from a small shop in Strasbourg. The beer is a clear yellow color with a medium thin and fizzy white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of pale malts and grass. Light body with flavors of doughy malt and mildly bitter grassy hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Barely average gimmick beer overall.

Bottle 33cl, a clear golden beer with medium head. Nose is hopy on the grassy side. Aroma is sweet, malty but with a watery body with some fruity hints. Not bad but not worth of the price.

BeerBelcher (972) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 23, 2008
I thought this was a decently hopped pale lager that was pretty average. It had a pretty gold color, a decent (but short-lived) head, and a pretty light Saaz-y aroma. Flavor was pretty clean and light, with a discernible hop note. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. I had this on-tap at an Alsatian street festival in Antwerp and drank it from a plastic cup along with some flammen kuchen, which was delicious. I wouldn’t steer you away from this beer; it was light and suited this occasion, but it was nothing to write home about.

Beerlando (3342) - Orlando, Florida, USA - AUG 23, 2007
Slightly hazy golden color with high carbonation. Decent white head that quickly fades. Minimal, spotty lacing noted. Aroma is of clean pale malts, some grains, and a hint of yeasty funk. Flavor is mildly pleasing, with pale malts and yeast providing the background, and light spices making an appearance. The body is on the light side of medium, and finishes smooth and clean. As pale lagers go, this is one of the better ones. Awesome label, if nothing else!

[11.2oz Bottle - Johns Market - what a great place] Nice clean aroma. Not a hint of corn. Maybe a bit of yeast. Golden color is slightly hazy with a decent white head. Citrus? A bit of sour? Some grape as one swallows? At least medium bodied as the carbonation swishes. The finish is a bit herbal and has some citrusy sour - but very light. This is a subtle beer. It’s very good stuff, a lager an ale drinker should not snear at.

[11.2oz Bottle - Johns Market] A pale yellow color with a thick head. A easy to drink and very light malty brew. This was a simple after workign hard beer. Noithing special about this beer. Great ad gimmick and it worked. I picked it for this reason.

Pours a two finger white head that fades to a thin layer leaving a some of lace. Almost clear amber color. Light-medium bodied and light carbonation. Nose is vague maybe bread. Starts balanced but not enough flavor some bitterness at finish but boring, label is better than the beer, not the usual for a Belgian. $1.89 for a 330ml bottle from John’s Market Tigard, OR.
