UPDATED: SEP 13, 2005 Pours pale clear yellow with medium sticky lacing white head. Aroma of light citrus. A light malty sweet citrus flavor with thin smooth palate and clean finish. Had to get 2 bottles for my collection. One with Panties, one without.

Bottle. Light orange malt aroma. Medium yellow with large head. Sour flowery hops flavor. Okay but not great - probably worth it for the label.

Aubrey (3431) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - APR 28, 2005
Very sweet-smelling nose. Hazy and yellow-gold hue. Really soft carbonation; light body; rather watery. Chewy sweetness (bread dough, buttery crackers). Earthy and kind of metallic (iron). Overall, dusty and bland with a rough balance. Some off-flavors as well (vegetables and some oxidation).

What a gimmick. No head. Yellow. Sugar aroma mixed with corn. Bitter corn in the taste, finish is the same. Bland.

goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - MAR 14, 2005
Poured a hazy pale yellow with a small white head. Light aroma of hop, malt, and earth. Light bready malt and light hop flavor. Overall just light on everything, including the body.

Very pale light golden color with a thin whispy white head. Subtle pale malty aroma has some floral Saaz hop character to it. Very thin, watery body has mild hoppy bitterness. A drinkable, but boring and bland beer. Thanks to skaughty for sharing this gimmicky brew.

JPDIPSO (4956) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 8, 2005
Cloudy straw color with a foamy near white head. Buttered sweet corn and candy corn aromas. Light malt sweetness with a tang of citrus that come out mid gulp. An odd grass and kettlecorn flavor seems to come out in the finish. Odd stuff.

Slick (1969) - Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA - FEB 27, 2005
Cloudy golden color that almost reminds me of a wheat beer.Fruity aroma with a sweet side and maybe a bit of hops in there but it would be very mild. The taste is certainly different,Caramel upfront with a bit of a malty side and some hops coming in towards the end again.kind of sweet in the beginning but slowly turns mildly bitter in the end.Not bad,but again nothig great eather. It’s worth a try atleast once just to scratch off the panties.

Great label...obviously, and the beer is drinkable, but not exceptional. You can see right through the glass (almost as if it’s empty). Tastes more like a typical German brew than a Belgian - word to the wise: don’t try this if you’re looking for a typical Belgian beer.

5000 (6239) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JAN 13, 2005
Bottle pours a very pale yellow, slight haze, mediocre spritzy white head, spotty lacing, with virtually no carbonation.   Pale malts on the nose, slight herbal or floral tinge.   Somewhat wheaty mouthfeel, lightly sweet malty flavor.   Medium body and mouthfeel.   Seems a bit thicker than most other Pale Lagers at least.   Slightly bready/yeasty on the finish.   Nothing spectacular, but not bad either.
