UPDATED: JAN 20, 2006 The label says that this is brought to you by Brasserie Gambrinus in Mulhouse, France, but brewed in Belgium. I assume some contract brewing is taking place. The slightly hazy light gold body is topped with a white head. The aroma is grassy with some funky Colby cheese. There is also a hint of barnyard. The taste is strongly funky potatoes and some light carrots. This is a werid light lager that approaches a saison in it’s funky character.

[11.2oz Bottle - Johns Market] A pale yellow color with a thick head. A easy to drink and very light malty brew. This was a simple after workign hard beer. Noithing special about this beer. Great ad gimmick and it worked. I picked it for this reason.

Straw hued with small but lasting foamy head and some lace. The aroma is grainy, grassy, floral and papery. The taste has a subdued citric and bitter quality, a touch buttered biscuit, and yeasty. The very short finish does have a acidic nature. The mouthfeel is thin, watery, crisp but not clean. Very so-so brew with a gimmick, still you can do worse.

Aroma of hay. Taste is odd - tangy, almost like a wheat beer. Some hops show themselves now and then. Could be a lot worse for a novelty beer.

I had a very nice time scratching the beer maiden’s undies off. It’s just to bad the beer itself didn’t excite (or is it arouse?) as much of an interest. Slightly sweet, honey aroma. Corn, grain and honey flavors. Finishes bland and watery. Light bodied and lifeless. The bottle label is the only redeeming part of this most unsexy beer.

Poured a hazy pale yellow with a small white head. Light aroma of hop, malt, and earth. Light bready malt and light hop flavor. Overall just light on everything, including the body.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a decent sized white head. Aroma of grass, yeast and sweet malts. Flavor is sweet malts, vegetables, and yeast. Different but nothing great.

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2006 The aroma has cereal grains in the malt and yeast but very low on the hops. The appearance is pale yellow with a slight white haze. The head is small but persistent. The flavor is sweet malt malty with a little bitterness and herbs. The palate is thin but it’s a pale lager. This is really good for a pale Lager, butt what makes this memorable is the cool label.

Bottle shared by Dogbrick at the Eurostash III tasting on 1/12/12. Clear yellow pour with a thick off-white head. Aroma of creamy malt (almost corny like a cream ale), not much else. Sweet malt flavor with some crisp hops.

Cheap thrills in the back of my car. Cheap thrills how fine they are. Cheap thrills up and down my spine, I need them, I need them ’cuz they feel so fine. Oh yeah, the beer .. well. when it’s based as much on a gimmick (no panties) I figure a song is as worthy. Not terrible, but I’ve seen much prettier girls.
