Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 12, 2004 A red beer with a beutiful beige head, though disappearing. The aroma is of yeast, spice, peaches, and melon. The flavor is of prunes, malt, and bread and is rather sweet. But the body is thin for being 6.2% ABV. But all in all it is an OK beer. omhper (10454), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 27, 2005 Bottled. Hazy ruby. There’s some disturbing butyric acid in the aroma. Fairly sweet with hard mouthfeel. Low hop rate, low bitterness, low enjoyment rate... Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 27, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) Dark, hazy brown with a fine head. Some roasted malt, with unusual citric tart notes. A bit vinous. Surprisingly light body considering the alcohol. 270398 oh6gdx (5901), Vaasa, Finland Jun 16, 2007 Bottled. Reddish amber colour, big foamy beige head. Aroma is berries, spices, yeast and some caramel. Flavour is a lot of spices, some malts, caramel and yeast. Mature aroma, malt, caramel; fruity (prunes); sweet wood; pungent carbonic gas. Smooth, a bit sweet and sour, light fruitness and nuts; lightly woody and boisée. Quite sweet final. Original, really pleasant.
