I haven’t had Wolaver’s Pale yet so I am not sure how this stacks up in the organic Pale genre. It’s alright as an APA though. Dark golden color with a thin off-white head and minimal lacing. Hoppy and woody aroma. Medium body and dry with spicy hops malt and fruit flavor. The finish is mildly bitter floral hops. Straightforward and exceedingly average overall.

12z bottle. Pours a pale orange hue with a small head.Sweet cirtusy hop nose with a faint biscuit quality like toast. Decent hop note in the mouth but no drying bitterness. Very smooth. I never really gave it much credit, but having it again for the first time, its was good for what it is. Easy drinking with a good hop backbone.

Had the sunset color goin on. Lots of wet soap in the aroma. The body was also very wet, but not overly hoppy, slightly floral but more soapy. Nothing special here.

Best word to describe it is meh. Only place I’ve ever seen it is in Whole Foods, never at a liquor store. Considering that, not too bad, but also not too good.

This beer was trying, so you gotta give it props. nice hoppy flavors. nice orange peel flavors and some creamy palate with some dish soap aftertaste. some yeast in the flavor and aroma. not a bad brew. refreshing and clean.

An orange appearance with some dishwashing detergent and citrus in the aroma. The palate is quite thin on this one. The flavor is soapy with spices and an artifical orange taste. Its doable but not really that good.

I found this to be a good pale ale, one of the better ones originating from Goose Island. Pours a nice cloudy amber, topped with minimal head, palate was a little sparse, too bubbly. Flavor was relaxing, a nice beer on a hot summer day.
