| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 19, 2004 This was a pretty decent pale ale. Nice floral hop character. Flavor is a bit on the sweet side but it was a nice change of pace. Goes down extremely easy, smooth, nice lawnmower beer that I could really drink a lot of. No realy aftertaste, could probably use a bit more bittering hops. Cornfield (4928), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

However, I did notice an additional fruitiness that Honkers doesn’t have. Other than that, it’s the same mild ale, a transitional drink to aidthe area’s pale lager drinkers get a taste of the ale half of the beer world.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 6, 2004 Slightly hazy, copper appearance with a short lived head. Modest aroma that had a spicy hop profile. Taste mirrored this to a large extent: flowery and spicy. Finish was acidic and a little thin. Middle-of-the-road pale ale. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 27, 2004 Hmmm. An odd duck to show up here, brought in by a wine distributor. Light burnt gold appearance, little head. Sour bread aroma. Light yet somehow cloying body, lots of sour bread, a hint of fruit, woody bitterness on the finish. A completely unremarkable, perhaps even substandard, golden ale that is brewed by a thousand mediocre brewpubs. Yawn. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA
