BREWMUSKCLES (1062), New Jersey, USA Feb 9, 2009 a light fruity belgian type brew with a nice hop presence. touch of malt at the end the brew it still has a bit of yeast in the mid palate. it is demonstrative and is either a brew of great skill or good luck. try some for sure. it does remind me of goose islands quality belgian type brews the jacques and matilda. mar (1740), Rowlett, Texas, USA Jan 9, 2009 light amber pour with a thin cream head. nose of fresh hops with some citrus notes and a malt background. nice on the palate with a fruity hop flavor that fades to a smooth malt finish. SuperDave70 (1157), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA Dec 19, 2008 Clear golden color pour with a foamy head. Aroma is mostly sweet toasted malt with hints of citrus and floral hops. Flavor follows the same pattern, sweet and malty up front with a light bitter finish. Pretty standard APA. glennmastrange (805), hobe sound, Florida, USA Dec 8, 2008 Bottle. Light malt aromas of light bread and straw, herbs for the hops, seat for the yeast and vegetable in the background. Head is small frothy, white with no lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear amber. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and lightly bitter. Palate is light to medium, dry and has a lively finish. It finishes metallic and lightly astringent. A plain beer all around. Is this really from Goose Island? I dont get it. CelticBrew (676), The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA Sep 26, 2008 Compliments of doboy (thanks Ed!), beer pours light golden from 12 oz bottle, forming medium size white foamy head. Aroma of corn sweetness and malts. Flavour was both of malted grains and faint hop character, somewhat creamy, with little carbonation. An easy drinking beer, perhaps sessions while mowing the lawn and such. Organic? Who really knows, but it really didn’t make too much of a difference I think, overall. doboy (175), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA Sep 25, 2008 Not a bad beer, Poured a dark blonde with a nice white head that unfortunately died too quickly but left a nice lace. Light aroma of a sweet malt. Seems to be well balanced with light malts and a light bittering from the hops. Carbonation seems good, a good clean session beer definately! DrBayern (1135), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA Sep 23, 2008 12 oz. bottle on 09/23/08, courtesy Doboy. Aroma- Light grain, some fruitiness, faint floral hops. Appearance - clear gold, medium off white head that settles quickly. Flavor - Balance is pretty good between a gentle maltiness and and a hop based soft bitterness. Nothing really jumps out as remarkable. Palate - Medium body, light carbonation, clean palate. Overall - Decent, but not anything special. Fine as a session beer with the usual accompaniments. nbutler11 (729), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Sep 19, 2008 Pours a light amber color with a crisp tan head. Loaded with caramel and yeast, yet high in water content and low in it’s ambition.
