Good retention and lacing. Aroma is skunky hops. Taste is a reasonably balanced beer more on the malty side. A little thin. Peregrinari (54), Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 3, 2008 Pours clear with very little head. Aroma is undercharged with some citrus hop notes but nothing really prominent. Flavor is once again very underwhelming. Nothing special, some citrus with malt but very mild. Palate is a bit slick with some stickiness. Overall, not one of my favorites. Drinkable but not outstanding. uhclem (189), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 25, 2008 Average ale. Taste does not live up to the promise of the unfiltered pour. Mouthfeel was thin, as was the aftertaste. Not a bad drink, but it is blown away by many superior brews. Ernest (4483), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing.
Body is light amber.
Aroma is moderately malty (bread, cookie, toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs, orange), with a light note of honey.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium body, velvety/syrupy texture, lively carbonation.
The sweetness is a bit unbalanced (and kinda syrupy) and thus it’s a difficult beer to drink much of, but the aroma is nice. Very malty. gsmitty80 (638), Washington DC, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 13, 2008 I thought that this was a very good beer for being brewed organically. Usually, the organic beers have a different finish associate with them but this one was clean and crisp. Decent pale ale, with not too much bitterness and a sweet tone to it that was unexpected. Want to have another to rate properly. Palidor19 (1772), Brandon, Florida, USA

The appearance is amber with a good head. The flavor is like the aroma and is well balanced. The palate is smooth. Overall it’s very good! jpatt (1), Houston, Texas, USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 5, 2008 I found this beer at Whole Foods. I had never heard of it, but for $5.99 a six pack I gave it a shot. (It’s cheaper than lonestar.) I was quite pleasantly surprised. IT IS UTTERLY DELICIOUS. I would reccomend it to anyone. The flavor is great. The alcohol content is decent (4.7), and the price is the best value in town.
