Lamar Street Organic Pale Ale

I had this as a sample. Piny sour aroma with some light hops. Malty with some citrus and horrible stale hop after taste, not very appealing flavor. Palate is rough and hard to swallow. Never again.

Bottle. Pours copper with medium rocky head, some lacing. Light piney and tropical fruit hop aroma. Flavor has caramel maltiness with lightly fruity hops. Finish has a bite of bitterness. Palate is ok, but at times a tiny bit watery.

not a fantastic offering from whole foods or goose island. slight citrus on the palate and a hoppy finish that lingers, but there’s really little more to be said. overpriced and dismal.

Pale amber body. little head. Aroma is dry and sweet. Little hoppiness in the flavor; mostly citrus and maltiness. Just okay.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with lb4lb (thanks!). Labeled Organic Pale Ale and BB 062308. Poured a medium and hazy amber color with an averaged iszed off white head. Aromas of citrus, toasted malts, and a little floral. Tastes of citrus and caramel.

12 oz bottle. Decent hoppy aromas with a flavor that starts off fruity and citrus but ends a bit watery. Not very exciting

Bottle from Whole Foods in Sarasota, FL. Poured a deep amber with an average rocky white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Medium sweet hoppy citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Moderate hoppy bitter flavor with an average finish of medium duration.

Bottle. Nose is light citrus hops and apricot. Cloudy dark yellow, nearly orange with a swirly and patchy white head. Sharp opening, mild bitterness in the middle and a slightly acidic finish. Overall a clean and drinkable beer, but lacks depth and definition. The hops are muted where they should really be more vibrant.
