Bottled. Hazy pale amber, brief head. Vague orangey nose. Sweet and medium bodied with hard mouthfeel. Simplistic somewhat papery hard crystal malt followed by, well, nothing at all.

Slightly hazy orangey-tan colour. The aroma is faint - kind of toasty, caramelly. Low bitterness. Clean, simple and approachable. Subtle toast and wood. Drinkable, but unlikely to inspire.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with lb4lb (thanks!). Labeled Organic Pale Ale and BB 062308. Poured a medium and hazy amber color with an averaged iszed off white head. Aromas of citrus, toasted malts, and a little floral. Tastes of citrus and caramel.

Bottle... Clear amber ale with orange highlights and a mid-sized, fizzy, off-white head. Decent retention. Biscuity, malty nose with a strong note of toasted English toffee and a faint note of black tea. The flavor slants toward the sweet side of balance. I really like the blend of biscuity and pilsner-esque pale malts alongside moderately bitter, earthy hops. Great roastiness. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Toasted caramel, earthy, bitter-sweet finish. Malty, English IPA!
