Nice SNPA like aroma with a bit more fruit, and a hint of almonds. Body is amber with a very thin white head. Taste is fruity, almost on the candy side, with light hop content.

Aroma is light floral hops and caramel accented malts. Body is a murky yellow and holds a firm thumb thick white head. Fore is lightly floral and herbal bitter with hops followed by a watery middle that is adequately malty, but too carbonated for the style. It has that crispness most of the macro drinkers like and while it is not a bad beer at all it doesn’t have any real range of flavor and the bite of the carbonation is unappealing to my palate.

12 ounce bottle from Ughsmash
Pours a hazed copper with a dirty white head. Pleasantly sweet malt aroma. Biscuits and cookies. Yum. The flavor has the same baked good qualities, with some very subtle bitterness. We can just barly call this beer a pale ale. Still, I would easily drink the beer any time, and be happy.

This really really tastes malty like a kolsch - I don't get it - It doesn't seem like an IPA to me, at least not an American interpretation. Bread and Hallertau and a bit of caramel. Interesting.

12 oz bottle. Decent hoppy aromas with a flavor that starts off fruity and citrus but ends a bit watery. Not very exciting

12z bottle. Pours a pale orange hue with a small head.Sweet cirtusy hop nose with a faint biscuit quality like toast. Decent hop note in the mouth but no drying bitterness. Very smooth. I never really gave it much credit, but having it again for the first time, its was good for what it is. Easy drinking with a good hop backbone.

From a twist cap long neck, Goose Island type brown bottle and labeling, a freshness date on the center bottom of back label. Poured a slightly hazy amberish, dull golden orange with a foamy head that settled into a thin lacing. Aromas of toasted grain and caramel, and fruity, tea-like hops. Good carbonation and a crisp, dry and smooth lightish medium bodied mouthfeel. Pleasant tasting, smooth and easy drinkability, but an average APA overall, toasted grains and a sweet caramel, the hops have a soft bitterness, citric, lightly spicy and a bit grassy, and a dry malty finish with a watery hoppiness lingering in the palate. You can tell this is brewed and bottle by Goose Island, it has all of the Goose Island characterics, nicely drinkable and for Whole Foods, affordable.

12 oz. bottle on 09/23/08, courtesy Doboy. Aroma- Light grain, some fruitiness, faint floral hops. Appearance - clear gold, medium off white head that settles quickly. Flavor - Balance is pretty good between a gentle maltiness and and a hop based soft bitterness. Nothing really jumps out as remarkable. Palate - Medium body, light carbonation, clean palate. Overall - Decent, but not anything special. Fine as a session beer with the usual accompaniments.
