2.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours clear gold with some mild carbonation. Smell yields barnyard aromas reminiscent of lambic. Taste is watered down Cantillon with limited tartness and no acidity.

Hazed medium gold with no head.
Scent is lemon, vinegar....cheesy.
Flavour is much like a flat champagne.
Slightly tart. light..just a bit sticky.
Not bad, quite mild.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared at the November 2012 Santa Cruz tasting. Pours an unclear gold with no head. Funky lemony aroma, chlorine and barnyard. Medium acidity/sourness, easy to drink. Light gueuzey taste but not overwhelmingly sour. Citric and refreshing. Not the most complex but really smooth.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle.Tart musty brett aroma. Hazy olden yellow with no head. Funky brett, lactic tart flavor. Light to medium body, flat carbonation. Flavor is great, but not tart enough, and rather flat. Good, but not quite what it could be.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Brett, lemon and vinegar aroma. Hazy golden yellow without any head. Lightly tart lemon and lactic flavor. Very light and minimal sourness. Pretty mellow for a Gueuze. Not one a sour lover would like much but might be a good introduction to sours.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with a paperthin white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is bandaids, rubber, and funk. Thin mouthfeel with a sour fruit and tartness with nice lingering sour finish. Easy to drink a very impressive gueuze.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear dark gold body with a one finger fizzy white head. Pretty typical looking, though the head faded a bit quick. The nose is quite funky and musty with some fairly aggressive cheesy notes. Smells a bit like some well aged parmesan with a little bleu cheese. There’s some minimal oakines along with more subtle citrus rind. The flavor is pretty decent, though it’s not anywhere near as deep and intense as the best examples like Drie Fonteinen. This is almost like a nice starter Gueuze. Way better than the artificially sweetened crap, but approachable by those not huge fans of the style. Nicely funky without much acidity at all, some light lemony notes towards the end before the woodiness comes out. Not quite completely dry on the finish, but still pretty nice. Good lively carbonation. Not bad, I think I’d easily try another one from this series.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml green bottle thanks to Ughsmash. Pours golden with a small head. Aroma is tart, apple skins, pepper, and a lemon tangness. The taste has lemon, green apples, and moderately acidic. There is a woody flavor that seems to contribute dryness which the finish is most certainly dry. The carbonation is high and it prickles the tongue. A good gueuze but not great.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
First pour in a line of sours. This one was a clean miss. This one has some fruity and lactic with some stale and musty notes and some sewer water. 110%flat. Flavor is lactic and slightly cheesey. Not enjoyable. Slightly bitter aftertaste.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very nice aroma, but the awesome flavor disappears. This makes it seem less complex than I'm sure it is.
