Cloudy orange- gold, almost no head. The nose shows varied yeasts and burnt matchstick along with citrus fruit. Beautiful, soft mouthfeel. Slightly effervessent. Brett, lemon and tangerine in the mouth with a lingering finish.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Poured this at a good temperature with a small, foamy, off-white head that quicly subsided. Color is a clear, straw amber with a dozen or so bubble trails. Aroma is a very volatile blend of yeast, oak, leather, fruit, bit of malt. Flavor’s like nose, yeast and carbonic tang unite up front and provide a zesty backdrop for the fairly dry bitter other qualities. Body and carbonation are perfect for the style and good burps too. Finish is fairly long, satisfying like a good brut champagne, and has a wisp of alcohol warmth. Excellent beer!

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Hazy straw color; thin wispy head. Very traditional gueuze aroma, barnyard, hay, some grapefruit zest. Flavor - juicier and fruitier than the standard gueuzes, prickly up front, lots of white grapefruit juiciness in the back. Very soft texture. Controlled sourness. Very nice.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Really enjoyed this one...no notariety, zero buzz, not a inkling of hype. Tart, lemon zest, sour Jolly Ranchers, barnyard, brett, and funk. Lots of citrus, smelly feet, and jaw-locking bitterness. Vinegar, acidity, and quite pungent. Delicious...not too aggressive but definitely assertive enough to make an impression.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Drank on tap at wholefoods. It was supposed to be still but picked up some co2. A: nice stank Brett note. Skunky, horse blanket, dirt, little bit of burnt tire, lemon. A: very light gold, slight haze. It had a slight head such faded after awhile. T: very light with a good brett note. Dirty, skunky, lemon zest, very little Burt wire/tire note, peppercorn. I enjoy more sourness P: it was supposed to be still. There was a little carbonation, which I liked. After that died down, kind of watery, a mouth coating funk with a pretty clean aftertaste. Little bit of lingering funk. Very slightly acidic. O: pretty good. Easy to drink, mellow Brett taste, good Brett nose. I personally like a little more sourness. Not great but pretty darn good.

Thanks to Travlr for sharing at Churchkey in DC. Pours golden with a dissipating white head. Complex funky aroma of lemon grass, hay, burlap, and citrus rind. Lighter side of medium bodied with a soft, fine carbonation. Overall very balanced and straight forward. Tamed sweetness and not overly acetic or lactic, with notes of lemon and oak.
