COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ale in Oatmeal Stout style With the colour of a friar’s frock, it is characterised by a nice persisting cappuccino-coloured foam. On the nose, it features chestnut honey, caramel, coffee toasting, cream and light oat notes. In the mouth, it’s characterised by a medium body with dried fruit notes (walnut), milk chocolate and earthy sensations deriving from the hoppers used in the beer. The bitter taste, deriving more from the malt toasting than from the hoppers, it’s delicate and not persisting. 15°

Draft. A chestnut-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of nuts, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and nuts as well as lighter notes of spices, leading to a dry finish where a light note of nutmeg lingers.

4th June 2010 - On tap at Bir & Fud. Huge thanks to the owners for this beer on the house! Dark brown beer, very short tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry. Rich dark malt but dry and a little smoky. Bubblegum underneath. A little rough!
