COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ale in Bavarian HefeWeizen style.Opalescent, as appropriate to the style, it’s characterised by the classic straw yellow. On the nose, it features marked banana, clove and fresh notes, followed by an herbaceous taste of hopper in the final. In the mouth, the banana fruity and the interesting citrus tastes prevail, leaving to the beer an unexpected dry note which fades into a light bitterish taste. 12°

Draught, 5.2% at the brewpub. OK banana aroma, hint of burnt rubber, but no more than many other Weizen. Cloudy orange colour. Big stable white head. Good sweetness in the flavour, some banana and a little clove. Better than many German wheat beers.

750ml from Arden Wines. Medium hazy with an exploding foam. Shrubby hop dominated pleasantly by banana candy and bubblegum aroma. Lemon, banana and biscuit wheat backed with herbal hop. Hints of clove; green leafy herb, perfume. Flattens fast once it’s stopped exploding. Good weizen, with a tweak more hop than is typical from a German specimen

Appellation tasting, bottle 750 ml. Cloudy yellow, small head. Nose banana, bubblegum. Sweet taste but not overpowering, bananas and wheat but without the traditional sour finish. Nice example of a wheat. Very well balanced.

750cl bottle. Pours cloudy, pale golden with a oportioned head. The nose has banana and creamy vanilla. The taste has cream and banana with just a hint of spice. The palate is medium bodied and creamy textured with a fairly elegant finish. Overall, a good beer!

Hazy yellow orange, off-white head. Nose is a combination of sweet candy and funk. Taste is likewise. It’s tasty, but probably infected.

Bottle at monthly tasting @ de Molen, hosted by dEnk. Clear golden pour. Aroma of sour apple, banana and grainy. Flavor is sour, fruity and a bit dusty. Had it a bit too old.

Quite clear for a hefeweizen. Lemon, champagne, candy sweetness. Sourness, apple taste and white sugar. Infected. Not bad though. Thirst quenching. (At the De Molen tasting)

Witbier colour with a quickly dissapearing head. Smells yeast and fruit. Tastes bitter, fruity, herbs and watery. Dry, fizzy carbo with a thin body.
