Lager in the American Lager style. Bright golden in colour. On the nose, it has a light malted note accompanied by citrus orange notes, deriving from a particular American hopper. In the mouth, it’s fleeting, not very carbonated and pleasurably bitter in the end. Is a very refreshing and not very alcoholic beer, ideal for hot summer days. 10°

Editor’s note: ABV went from 3.7 to 4%

Draught at the brewpub. Golden colour with a fine white head. The aroma is malty with biscuit notes and some light floral hop character. The flavour is sweet malt, caramel, little hop presence, a bitter finish, a little harsh. Very dry.

Draught@Lambrate’s brewpub. Deep golden clear pour with a pungent grassy nose. Very drinkable with quite a noticeable dryhop (maybe because of the freshness of a draught just a few steps from brewery). At taste there’s the malt sweetness with a strong grassy note at the end.

My Bottom Line:
Honeyed malts and spicy hops team up in this refreshing lager sealed by balancing resinous bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the misty blond.
-Hops also share a touch of citrus.
-Malt presence is bolder than expected.
-Flavor profile is super clean and geared towards high drinkability.

On tap at Ma Che Siete, Roma.

Stupenda e rinfrescante lager bionda nello stile americano dalka schiuma bianca mezzo persistente.

Aroma: herbs, light citrus notes, DMS. Appearance: hazy golden color with nice lasting white head. Taste: medium bitterness (herbs and grapefruit), watery, slightly sweet. Palate: light body, medium carbonation, short bitter finish. Overall: Avarage American lager with no fireworks. Easy to drink, medium bitterness, but the taste is one dimensional.

750ml bottle - shared by rosenberg - thanks
Hazy orange, persistent off-white head. Sweet pale mashy aroma. So much a pale-cloured lager. Has the sweetness of a 6% lager, strangely. Nice full hoppy finish. dry, earthy and barky even. A bit harsh, annd has the acidic aspects I don’t like from lagers. actually it’s harsh - biting hops. undecided, but I don’t want to revisit.
