06/03/2013 Open Baladin (handpump). Nera, impenetrabile, schiuma beige discreta e mediamente persistente. Naso sensazionale, tostato, caffé, liquirizia e torbato si sposano in maniera eccelsa. In bocca è morbida, la gasatura leggerissima, quasi assente, consente di apprezzarne le note tostate e affumicate. Equilibrata ma decisa, di carattere ma mai eccessiva, mostra anche una discreta beva. Corpo medio, carbonazione soft. Gran bella birra, Lambrate sempre in gran forma!

Pours murky brown color with a large head. Aroma of caramel, burnt malts, some smoke and dark fruits. Flavor of dark fruits, smoky ham, burnt malts and caramel. Faint licorice and coffee notes too.

Bottiglia: Very dark amber coloured with a ruby sheen and a medium-sized persistent tanned head, mild - but distinctive - aromas of burnt wood and charcoal in the fruity-dark-malty nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied; lingering dryish fruity and smoky finish. Pretty good, but a bit thin...

[ASPETTO] nero mogano; schiuma color nocciola, buona presenza, fine e buona persistenza [OLFATTO] domina il profumo affumicato, a cui fanno da contorno altre note torrefatte con note di cioccolato, un leggerissimo tocco di caffè. [GUSTO] inzio non contundente, con un torrefatto dosato che non regala immediatamente l’affumicato ma lo lascia uscire gradualmente; nel frattempo appaiono note dolci di cioccolato al latte ed una leggera astringenza. Il finale acquista un amaro leggermente più evidente, compare appieno l’affumicato e , nonostante la bassa alcolicità, si avverte una legegra sensazione alcolica. Leggera sensazione allappante che perdura nella bocca. [TEXTURE] corpo medio, morbida e vellutata nonostante una carbonazione vivace. [COMMENTO FINALE] stout affumicata, con un livello piacevole che subentra gradualmente. Mantiene una buona struttura che la eleva rispetto ad una stout classica, nonostante la bassa alcolicità.

Clear reddish black colour, tan head. Aroma of smoke, roasted malts, sweet touch. Smoked, sweet malty flavour, roasted malts, light chocolate. Sweet chocolate finish.

Bottle @ Kiss The Kitchen Floor or better known as ZZT VI (2013): kindly shared by IluvatarMilan: Medium sized light brown colored foamy head, changes with regular speed and leaves a thin lacing on top of deep dark brown colored beer with black tints. Aroma’s of bay leaf, liquorice, roast & smoke, darker barley malts, some darker hops and dark herbs. The flavours are a mix of liquorice, bitters, bay leaf, roasted barley malts, smoke and toasted/ roasted herbs. Aftertaste is light bitter with some bay leaf. Medium carbo, blown creamy and airy mouthfeel, good medium body and a light watery texture. Pretty good beer, specially for such low ABV.

Bottle @ zzt. Aroma is molasses, roasty malt, chocolate, dark chocolate. Flavour is deep roasty malt, liquorice, molasses and more. Long lingering roasty finish.

Zzt bottle. An unsurprising strong smoky aroma, some liquourice in the nose. Taste is balanced and drinkable. Much milder smoke, hint of meatiness. Pleasant.

Sampled from bottle @ ZZT VI. Opaque pitch black color, no head just a slight off-white lacing. Smell malts, coffee and lots of smoke. Taste malts, smoke, bitter, coffee. Balanced taste imo. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle @ ZZT VI thx to illuvatarmilan. Dark brown to black colour with a lightbrown head that doesn’t last long. Smells smokey, bacon, roasty, sweet. Tastes smokey, bacon, roasty, some coffee, slightly salty. Medium body, soft carbo.
