3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at GBBF ’09. Many thanks to harrisoni for a chance to enjoy this fascinating beer. Gold. Odd hoppy aroma of grapefruit and ginger which seems typical of Italian craft brewing. And that goes for the taste: an unusual, complex, indeterminate melange that is more interesting than appealing.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Light hazy copper golden body with firm, rocky white head that’s not going anywhere. Nice! Fresh pine aroma, not overly powerful. Crusty bread, fresh hops and a soft wheat base. Quite balanced still. Dry palate, pungent bitterness that’s only mildly contrasted by the fairly high carbonation. Ending is only bitter, and very drinkable for me. Recommended drinking temperature was 4°C on the bottle and it actually isn’t too cold to still get flavours going. Even more surprising with this light body and low abv. Bit of a surprise for me from this unknown brewer. Not super complex but very quaffable. (75cl bottle, somewhat expensive)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ 2nd Tuesday tasting at De Molen, hosted by dEnk. Clear golden pour, foamy white head. Aroma is somewhat yeasty, some grains, floral hops and somewhat bready. Flavor is bitter and watery with grains and some yeast. Boring but not much to complain about.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Schouskjelleren. Almost clear deep golden to amber with s small, white head. Moderate hoppy and grainy aroma with citrus, pine and something slightly unpleasant. Moderate sweet with hoppy and grainy flavours and a quite decent bitterness in the finish. Quite nice, but there is something here that I don’t like, but can’t put my finger on it. Decent enough, but not something I would buy again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
75cl bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a lovely creamy head. The nose has grapefruit and pine. The taste has more grapefruit with a touch of malt on the end. The palate is medium bodied with a creamy texture and a bitter finish. Overall, it seems a bit too bitter at first but you get used to it.
