Der Nachhall ist hoppy and long. Cool. 0,3/4€ vom Hahn im BIRRA Berlin.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet’s BU. Golden body. No head. Grapefruit, citrus, resin and some malt nose. Lemon, malt, citrus, grapefruit flavour. Bitter and sweet. Medium body. A bit oily. Honey-esque. Soft carbonation. Maybe a bit closer to a belgian tripel than an IIPA.

Keg at the brewpub in Milan. A bloody half pint. A hazed orange golden coloured pour with a big ol frothy white head. Aroma is decent canned tropical fruits, pineapple and mango, raw grains and a rough grassy hop. Flavour is composed raw grains, husks, muddled hop character, some mango and tangerine. Assertive dirty pine hop bitterness. A little hot alcohol in the finish. Palate is grainy, moderate carbonation. Decent enough.

Buon amaro.

Drank in the Italian craftbeer bar in the street of our apartment in Berlin with Lennart, Marijn and Bram. Lots of taste in this one. Nice and fresh as well. Good beer.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgie, consumed at Camping Trois Château Eguisheim, Alsace, France, Tuesday 21st June 2016 the Summer Solstice, whilst cooking Alsace Gnocchi. Pours cloudy yellow gold with a white foamy fast disappearing head. Wow this is a fruity number. Lots of juicy sweet oranges leap forth but on a substantial malty base, it’s quite a potent beast. Good bittersweet balance, actually the bitterness is quite evident, I like this it is a thrusty, fruity, decent buzzy bitter DIPA. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

At A Che Venuti on tap. Pretty solid double IPA with pleasant aroma. What else is there to say.
