draft @ birrificio di Lambrate. bevuta all’aperto in unagiornata fredda. il birrificio era chiuso ma i ragazzi (gentilissimi) erano all’interno e ci hanno dato una chance. per essere una ale belga magari è un po’ poco alcolica. ma su tutto il resto non posso fare appunti. colore/schiuma e profumi sono eccellenti. corpo leggero, di buonissima beva. finale lungo e persistente. va riprovata con più calma , ma è un’ottima birra.

I like the hop from new zeland. Exotic and fruity . This beer is strong but needs to be fresh consumed.

Mi aspettavo qualcosina di più, comunque. Molto gradevole, mielosetta e leggermente fruttate, appena agrumata. Alcool non invadente, non difficile da buttar giu!

Very hazy amber beer, little suddy white head. Dry and crisp palate. Very dry! Sweet caramel malt does battle with a sour tangyness. A trace of fruit before a very dry finish. A curious sweet and sour beer but the palate is way too dry!

Giallo pagllierino con riflessi dorati, bel naso con note di miele e frutta tropicale.
Bocca secca e abbastanza amara per una Belgian ale.......buonina.....

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2012 Alla spina. Limpido color oro con schiuma bianca soffice medio-bassa. Aroma deboluccio con sentori lievementi fruttati e una parvenza di lievito; gusto piuttosto dolce, mediamente maltato, fruttato ma non zuccherino e leggermente erbaceo, lievi note vanigliate e mielose. Morbida al palato, di facile beva e non impegnativa grazie anche all’alcool poco percepibile. Discreta.

Bottle. Hazy gold with an off white head. Aromas are yeast and lemon with grape juice and green apple. Some woody notes with underlying caramel. Flavours are tart and sweet white grape juice with soft yeast and clean wheat. Melon with bready notes and tinned pineapple juice. Brown sugar with gentle spices and toasted malt. Peppery with resinous fruit to finish. Has some damp cardboard off-notes but is pretty solid.

Bottled. The aroma is very fruity, citric. Slightly hazy, golden coloured beer with a bit an off-white head. Some flakes floating around. The taste is sweet, sour, malty and infected. To be rerated.

A clear yellow-golden colored beer, with a white head. The aroma is malty, fruits like citrus with some hops. The taste is sour (out of date 04/2010) withsome fruits and hops.The aftertaste is hoppy bitter with sweet and also sour notes.
