COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ale in Belgian Strong Golden Ale style.Orange coloured. On the nose, it features caramel notes followed by interesting citrus, yellow fruit and tropical fruit scents, deriving from the use of New Zealand hopper. In the mouth, it has a neat fruity apricot and pineapple taste followed by a slight bitter taste. 16°

Birra bevuta alla spina direttamente al birrificio Lambrate. Nel complesso una buona birra, la mia preferita di questo birrificio insieme alla ghisa.

Poured into tall pint as seen pictured on the left at Birrificio Lambrate brewpub in Milano. 3 finger light white head, cloudy yellow appearance, faint citrus smell with a sweet citrus taste. Sparkly mouthfeel from the carbonation. No real aftertaste. Would rank this below this brewery’s Lambrate.

Draught, 6.8%. Hazy golden colour. Big stable bubbly white head. The flavour is slightly fruity... Slightly citric... Not very alcoholic. Only a hint of yeast. A bit boring I think, but quite clean.

Light yellow colored with hazy appearance. Hopped-lemony aroma with some sweet fruitiness, good aroma indeed. Medium bodied. Flavor is similar:biting with hops and flowery grassy note, aftertaste is even more hopped. Very good brew.

My Bottom Line:
Honeyed sweetness and earthy, herbal hoppiness whip up a plump and simple Belgian-style Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A healthy head of foam garnishes the nearly clear blond.
-A little too much alcohol is showing in the nose (for my tastes).
-Some pear-like esters are tasted alongside the alcohol.
-Although it was quite drinkable, I found this brew to be the least interesting of all the beers they had on offer that week in Mid-July.

On tap at the brewpub.

Unclear medium yellow / orange color with a average to large, frothy / creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate hoppy, flowers, perfume, moderate yeasty, caramel, toffee, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. (051107)

A gentle creamy white head covers the hazy golden hue. Quite fresh aromas! I enjoy that. A finely honeyed nose with grainy and cerealic maltiness. Bright-flavoured in mouth. On the other hand, its hop is not the best one out there, timid, lightly floral and a bit salty or I’m mixing up with the gentle minerally nature. Considerably sweet mouth presence though in a bready way rather than the honey that was hinted at. Soft palate, medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Pleasant and tripel reminiscent.
