Deep sandy red, hazy and wearing a small off-white cover. Fresh malt aroma not unlike fruit flavored cake or bread. Crushed perfumey nutmeg, rather buttery in a scottish way. Pleasant hoppiness. Comfortable mouthfeel. Typical well balanced Amère à Boire lager.

Draught. Copper-red with a creamy/soapy white head. Enticing aroma of toasted caramel and orange citrus. Just the interplay is quite enticing and well thought out. Creamy to start and some cookie-type flavours contribute a nice sharp feel. Toasty malts and faint European hop character also show their face. Solid balance.

Bu sur place en fut (10 oz). Rousse claire, mince collet. Arome de fruit et de bonbon sucré. Goût de malte et d’orge, faiblement sucré avec un peu d’épice.

Eructoblaster (3054) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 21, 2008
On tap et the brewpub. Dark amber body with average carbonation and a decent white creamy head. Nice malty aroma with brown sugar and spicy hints. Its malty/hoppy taste is well balanced but lacks strength and complexity. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish.
