Pours hazy amber with bright white (fine) head. Aroma dominated by sugars , malt and ripe fruits (at finish). Green bitter on the front, slight raw, grainy soft middle. Average.

The body was dark orange with a near copper tint. There was a white head. The aroma was walnuts with some tea. There was also some fresh cut wood. The taste was bitter with some tea and bread crust. There was also some grapefruit.

Un goût sucré, acide, caramel et agrume. C’est un goût très bizzard, à aimer ou non.

I didn’t realy like this one. A ltttle malt on the nose, a ltiitle dry hop on the mouth. Silky, acidic, dry caromel finish. Some lemon grass, some mace, some sweet touches. Not realy a artisan beer, more of a standard session ale. I come here for more intresting ales. Cheers

A unique combination of English yeast and saaz, golding and other hops, munich malt. Complex taste. Dry bitter, acidic mouthfeel good with food. Medium mouthfeel, nicely hopped and nicely malted

A hazy orange beer with a small orange head. The aroma is very yeasty - as if it hasn’t finished fermenting, combined with notes of brewmash. The flavor is quite hoppy with a touch of alfa acid and oranges, leading to a dry slightly metallic end. There is no congruence between the aroma and the flavor.

Draught at the brewpub
Dark amber, off-white nice head, lots of lacing. Nose of plenty of columbus hops and rich malty body. The flavor is a bit dry and light bodied, nice mouthfeel though and very drinkable.

Pretty much all the brew pubs serve an amber ale in Montreal. All are pretty bland except this one. Nice medium amber with a thick light tan head and good lace. Awesome sweet malty smell blended with lots of earthy and herbal noble hops. Also a bit of fruitiness throughout the aroma and flavor. Flavor is mostly caramel malts with some of that dark bready munich flavor. Some hop bitterness in the end as well. Finishes smooth and clean.

Slightly cloudy amber-brown w/ creamy finger of dense off-white foam. Aroma is malty (caramel, toffee), spicy (ginger, coriander), & fruity (grapefruit, lemon, cherry?). Soft, juicy feel. Flavour is sweet & malty w/ some refreshing fruity edges. Finish is dry & mildly acidic.
