3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jercraigs (6477) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 6, 2003
UPDATED: JUN 13, 2009 2009-06-06. Orangey body with a modest off-white head, nice lace. (3+) Flavour has a pleasant hoppiness throughout, but it feels a bit muddled at times, and a bit dilute overall. (6+) Mild aroma, pleasant citrusy melange of hops, mild malt. (6+) Average to light palate is just a touch under carbonated even for a cask. Okay, pleasant but just a touch too dilute. 6/3/6/3/13 - 3.1 On Cask, at the brewpub
October 2003. Amber orange colour. Slight floral and fruity notes in both the aroma and flavour. Bit watery on the mouth, with slight bitterness on the back of the tongue. Ok but unexceptional. 4/3/5/3/11 - 2.6On tap at the brewpub.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 muzzlehatch (4425) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - MAR 31, 2003
Is my taste for hops diminishing on this long sampling night? Perhaps in this, around my 20th of that Saturday night, this is evident. Faint caramel/citrus in the nose, but I don't have much else besides "this is bland."
2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 dhurtubise (568) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 16, 2002
English pale ale for sure (or the saaz hops from the wonderful pils they brew there had thrown my palate off). It has a nice fruity yeast profile with a bread, malty character. It was served on the hand pump. Overall it was pretty much flawless but quite average for a cask pale ale. It could use more finishing hops.
