275ml bottle (Eat&Joy, Helsinki)
Sweet fruity almost apple pie aroma. Pretty crisp carbonation - a refreshing palate. Tart acidity. Big pie-crust body, it really is a tart apple pie. Has some almost scrumpy-like punch, dry and drying, and is a little hazy too. If this had been 8% it would be to die for!
2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 brunnsbe (66) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 28, 2008
Man, this is weird. Supposed to be a cider but reminds me of Cantillon Iris. I guess the batch got infected, the only other option is that the brewer wanted to brew the first (sorry Lindemans doesn’t count) real apple lambic. Low points for a cider, high points if it were a beer.
