Pours orange brown with a thin head. Earthy taste, maltiness, woodiness almost pulp tasting. Very heavy on the mouthfeel for a pale near too much, and with more hops in the finish could easily be an IPA. Very out of balance for a Pale.

Bottle. Pours deep copper with a nice off-white head. There is a lot of carbonation coming off the glass. Aroma is fairly malty.. some caramel and barley notes jump out. the taste is very malty and has that caramel flavor to it. Not really a pale ale in my opinion but not awful.

355 ml bottle. 15/31/303 11/2247/N. From State Line Liquor, Elkton, MD. Clear reddish amber colour with small off-white head. Sweet sugary caramel and malt in aroma. Flavour is slightly tart but mostly floral hoppy, caramel sweet and malty. Not bad but a bit square. Sweetness in aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at my Uncles house, PA - 20/05/12. Slightly hazed copper/amber with an off white head. Malt, grain, bread, cereal nose. Bready malt taste allied to wheat and grain and a little spice. Medium body and carbonation.

Draftt at brewpub. Copper color, light head, clear, moderate carbonation. . Very grainy aroma with strong barley. Taste is malty but also musty -- bot great. Not my favorite...

Bottle. Some hop, some caramel malt, some toast, spice and sugar. Thin in the body and not too much going on in the wow factor.

Pours a dark murky copper with a very thin tan head that does leave some lacing. The aroma is basically undetectable. The taste unfortunately isn’t much better. There seems to be at least one too many malts. Not well balanced and it leaves kind of a funky bitterness at the very end that isn’t all that desirable. I wish I had better things to say but this one disappoints.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2012 This was apart of a case I bought while on a trip to Pittsburgh. O PA beer laws. Poured a cloudy orange, nice head. Smell was mostly bitter grain, some butter sweetness. Taste was pretty mild, not much to it. Overall better then a macrolager, but not clamoring for it again.
