2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Can’t agree that this is a pale ale - not that I care that much, but it’s more of an amber based solely on hop level. The bottle I had was extremely overcarbonated, with a tan, muddy colored head forming over a muddy and murky dark red and brown colored body. Nose of soggy yeast and old banana and oranges and toast. Flavor is less of this soggy grain and more of a tasty grains and hay, very sweet, with some dryness as well. Heavy dough and yeasy presence, very bready, but not hoppy at all, really.

This beer is being discontinued in lieu of the Lancaster Pale Ale, which is a reformulation.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle into a goblet. Pour IA a haze brown with a nice brown head. Aroma is a sweet malt. Taste is of fruit and malt, it is very different from other pale ale. Finish is a fruit wash. This is a very good ale.

Bottle. Very bizarre odor that really gave an unappetizing feel to the beer as a whole.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I like this beer overall, kinda like a meal in a glass. Tones of citrus, flavorful yeast, and mild hops. Poured well, nice light amber color. The thing that stood out the most with this one was the taste of baked bread behind other complimenting flavors

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Orange-amber pour, white creamy foam. Sweet aroma. Caramel malt, fructose, sugar, malt powder, bread, and dried leaves. Sweet grain character. Flavors of sweetened cereal, mostly grains, bready. Oily, sticky texture. Finishes with a grain flavor and some bitter grass flavors. Very unique, on its own level. Not too balanced, but quality exists. (3519)

Pours a light rusty color with a thin off-tan head. Aroma is caramel, sugar, malt, some fruit, pine. Taste is oily, plain. Mild; some grass, a little sweet and bready. Very plain. Very nice mouthfeel though. I so wish this was a more flavorful beer.
