3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask - The Glass House (JDW), Norwich. Poured a clear golden amber with a creamy, lasting & lacing one finger white head. Toasty, pale malts, grass & citrus aromas. Zesty lemon, lime flavours with a pithy, rindy bitterness. Light to medium body, crisp palate texture, a light spritz on the tongue with a lingering dry, hoppy finish.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask at the Old Gaolhouse (JDW), Winchester. Pale amber with a scummy cream head; sweet aroma with a touch of honey; soft and bready in the mouth, slightly sweet to start, but being drier with a light bitterness. Another very average Olympic beer - no gold medal here.

Goodmans Fields ’Spoons. Light hazy on this gold beer, good white head. Light semi dry palate. The curse of Golden Ales strikes - a bit of sulphur. Mild orange citrus. Semi dry finish.
