COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our hoppiest beer to date! This formidable India Pale Ale has a hop aroma that demands attention. The bold, citrus hop flavor is balanced by a dry malt character that makes this refreshing ale a true classic.

UPDATED: APR 18, 2007 Serviceable IPA with C hop aroma and some taste. Faintly astringent but otherwise fairly standard IPA checking in at slightly better than average brew. Full hop and malt effect of an American IPA, the last beer of a night.

Too sweet......almost like a malt liquor with a chaser of hops. It definitely marches to a different beat than other IPAs. I like the bite and sharpness of most IPA styles but this one is not top shelf.

Not bad! Pours a light amber with a white head. Good Carbonation. Nice hop aroma. Taste is somewhat bitter with the hop flavor mixing well with the malt. Bitterness on back side is good.

Pours an orange red clear color. Semi sweet hoppy aroma. Pretty sweet for an IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured amber with a thin white head. Aroma is mostly malty sweet but some hops come trough. Taste is also sweet and while some hops come trough it is a bit too sweet for an IPA, don’t get me wrong it is not bad but I was expecting a bit more hoppiness from a "HOP HOG"; however it does have a nice and very drinkable taste.

Superb, earthy amber/brown color with a few particles and foamy head/lacing. Aroma a bit overpowered by candied malt, but there is also some hop in there too. I also got malt first and foremost on the taste. Comes off more like a hoppy Bock than an IPA. Smooth, but a little thin/flat. It is not bad, but there are definitely better IPAs out there.

Tap. Pours clear amber with thin, creamy white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is floral and citrus hops, cereal and cookie malts, light pear, lemon, and faint woody notes. Flavor is sweet malt forward with good supporting floral hops and light fruit esters; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Bottle into a goblet. Pour is a haze light brown with a nice head. Aroma is more malt than hop, an ipa needs more hop. Taste is a light hop with a malt back. Finish is mots like Lager. Over all I like this beer but its not an ipa.
