COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This formidable India Pale Ale has a hop aroma that demands attention. The bold, citrus hop flavor is balanced by a dry malt character making this refreshing ale a true classic.

Bottle into a goblet. Pour is a haze light brown with a nice head. Aroma is more malt than hop, an ipa needs more hop. Taste is a light hop with a malt back. Finish is mots like Lager. Over all I like this beer but its not an ipa.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Appearance: It has a straight up amber body with a tall just off white head. It’s head fades quickly to just a thin wispy layer and lacing is minimal. Smell: The aroma has a sweet honey and bread like grain character with a touch of candy like sweetness and hint of orange blossom. Taste / Palate: It’s flavor leans more on the sweet malty side and it matches the aroma note for note. As an IPA this is way out of character. To me it feels more like a nice easy drinking pale ale.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark copper body under a nice foamy off-white head that had excellent retention. The nose is the hops are nice and citrusy on the nose, but there’s also a ton of crystal malt sweetness under the hops. Same with the flavor, the hops are decent enough, with a fairly aggressive bitterness, but the malt is just all bad for me. Lots of residual sugars and iced tea like crystal malt. Tastes like liquid brown sugar on the finish.edium bodied and clingy on the finish. Not my style of IPA.

This is a really nice IPA. Feels lighter than it really is. A nice lingering bitterness. Pine and bread.

Southern Boss’s younger brother. Another great IPA. Looks the same as Southern Boss with an almost same taste. Amber brownish color. Great IPA smell.

Draft at Milkboy Phila. Dark amber pour with a decent foamy beige head. Sharp red fruits. Rich raspberry/blackberry notes with a lot of strong black thistle notes. Honey pumpernickel flavors. Sweet, but reaching into the good stufffff.

Poured brown/amber – fairly dark for an IPA. Faint floral and citrus aroma. Taste is grapefruit and pine with a bitter finish that lingers on the tongue.

Keg @ Sedona. The pour’s deep gold with a small head. The nose is pretty neutral, a bit old maybe. Some caramel, bread, summer fruits. The taste is of white pear, apple, mild citrus candy. Bready body. Soft carbonation. Middle of the road.
