Can with some heads at Ryan’s. Pours a cloudy gold with thin head and some mild lace. Nose of grass, grain. Medium body and carbonation. Drinkable session.

Mild bready aroma, pours a clear light amber, with a full white head. Mild floral and herbal hops come in the finish, with a slightly sweet malt flavor being predominant. Very light on the palate, and easy drinking. A very solid Kolsch.

12oz can picked up in VA. In a lot of ways this is a pretty solid offering. Soft and medium bodied, but has some bitter, floral, astringent hop action too. Still fresh after sitting in my refrigerator for months. A respectable offering.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall microfoam off-white head with some orange and copper tints - very nice. Aroma of fresh malt, light wheat, a touch of lemons and a tiny bit of sugars. Light-bodied; Sharp malt up front with not much behind aside from a touch of lemons and a bit of metal. Aftertaste is light and airy with some grassy notes and a tiny bit of sugars. Overall, a pretty one dimensional beer with some light malt flavours and a hint of sugars, but that’s about it - oh, and maybe a tinge of lemons. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-July-2012 for US$1.25 sampled at home in Washington on 20-August-2012.

Big Top Beverage Mart, Roslyn PA case: Purchased this to go to a music festival, so I drank a bunch of these out of the can. However, yesterday I finally poured one. Poured a light gold with a white head. Aroma is slightly fruity with pale malts. Taste is much the same. Everything about this beer is as it should be. Sessionable and refreshing. I could finish 12 of these in one sitting.

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2012 Canned, poured into beer glass. Golden color with white head that disappears quickly. Aroma of bread, grass and maybe come citrus. Taste is grainy malt, some spices and a little hops. Pretty light overall, decent summer beer.

Location: 12 oz can from State Line, 8/6/12

Aroma: The nose is clean crystal malts, dough, bread, citrus hops, and some grass
Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with a thick, white head and some lace that dissipates quickly
Flavor: It tastes much the same, crystal and doughy malts with grass hops, it’s light sweet and bitter
Palate: The body is light, with a really nice crisp, clean feel to it, a nice drinkability, and a smooth, dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a nice Kolsch overall, with its crisp, clean feel, and a good drinkability. This one is a clear example of a beer being what it is trying to be.

12 oz can given to me by a fellow vacationer in Rangeley Maine. Pour a clear yellow w/a 1/2" white head. Clean, malty aroma with a bit of grain. Slighty sweet taste. Medium to thin body with a hint of bitterness in the finish.

Cannned. Pours yellow. Your standard straw and light blonde ale hops and such.
