Clear, but very dark ruby amber, foamy one-finger head, swirls of lace. Good looking. Taste is roasted malt with a little cocoa and a little smoke. Near the finish bitter chocolate brings it to a close. Surprising body for 5.3%abv, but far too bitter to be a traditional English style sweet stout. Good, not great.

Very nice chocolate favors and sweet candy like finish. Very enjoyable, medium bodied with nice favors. Acidity is is very well balanced with the bitter chocolate favors. I was very impressed with this, seeing as I had not been too thrilled with milk stouts. This is definitely worth drinking again. #300
