3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Courtesy of Linus_stick. Itís a pitch black beer with a light brown, huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and a light sourness. The flavour has a light sweetness, roasted malt, licorice, coffee and a light sourness, but not nearly as much as in the Keegan Milk Stout. Itís really nice, and the sourness is merely a becoming hint... 2356

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Vintage Cellar. Dark brown/black pour with an ephemeral tan head. Aroma is mostly coffee. Maybe a little nutty. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is smooth burnt toast, hints of fruit, and coffee. Finish is relatively dry and coffee. Not getting much in the way of chocolate. However, I am enjoying it.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A: The pour is a dark, dark brown color with a thin layer of tan foam.
S: The nose is not very pleasing at all. There is some roasted malt, hints of chocolate, and a slight sweetness. However, there is also something a bit "off" about the aroma that I canít quite pin point (maybe a touch sour?).
T: The flavor is a slight improvement over the nose with some decent roasted malt and cream flavors with a touch of sweetness. I canít say that itís especially good though.
M: The body and carbonation are about standard, with the body being a touch thin.
D: The pedestrian flavors and rather unpleasant nose really put me off of this beer. I think I would pass on this one if offered it again.
